Three different Birmingham clients across three different sectors: a repeat commercial client in Autodesk, West Midlands Fire Service at Erdington, and an ongoing relationship with the University of Birmingham.

For Autodesk, a repeat commercial client in Birmingham, RS Electrical delivered a full LED lighting upgrade across more than 700 fittings, followed by new EV charging infrastructure including twin charging pedestals and supporting distribution.

At Erdington Fire Station, RS Electrical acted as Principal Contractor for West Midlands Fire Service, replacing the station's fire alarm system to BS 5839-1:2017 within a five-week programme — working around a live, 24-hour operational fire station built in 1939.

Since October 2024, RS Electrical has also supported the University of Birmingham with ongoing electrical works across its estate, including LED lighting upgrades, electric heating installations and new power installations delivered around a live university campus.

The Erdington Fire Station project also demonstrates RS Electrical's fire alarm design, installation and commissioning capability — delivered there as Principal Contractor, and available as part of wider projects and maintenance contracts alongside RS Electrical's core electrical installation and testing work.
